From time to time, the Comfort Dental Spa team likes to put team profiles on our blog so that you can become familiar with who’s responsible for the beautiful smiles our patients have. This week, we’re featuring Dr. Ana Janic!
Dr. Janic is a graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and the University of Belgrade School of Stomatology. She is a member of the Alpha Sigma Nu Highest Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society, and she received the Bunting Periodontal Society Award and Certificate in 2008. She is also associated with the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, and the American Academy of Periodontology.
Dr. Janic is Comfort Dental Spa’s periodontal treatment and disease expert. She is proficient in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal disease, as well as in non-surgical modalities and maintenance of esthetic dental implants and the management of medically compromised patients. Dr. Janic believes that her patients like her for her honesty, understanding nature, and gentle touch. She enjoys answering and addressing any questions and concerns her patients have in order to make them comfortable in her care, and she loves getting to know her patients through friendly conversations.
When she’s not making Comfort Dental Spa patients smile, Dr. Janic loves to work out, swim, walk with her friends, and spend time with her husband of ten years, as well as her cat and dog. She is a yearly participant in “Give Kids a Smile,” which is an annual event to provide dental care to underprivileged children.
