Dr. Aziza Askari, DMD, MAGD, MBA - Cosmetic Dentist

After earning her undergraduate degree in Pharmacology at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, Dr. Aziza Askari was accepted into the prestigious Temple University School of Dentistry. There she earned a combination Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD)/Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Dr. Askari completed her AEGD at UofM in Ann Arbor.

When she was presented with the opportunity to join a dental practice that was dedicated to delivering a personal and friendly approach to dental care, Dr. Askari couldn’t refuse! She is dedicated to meeting your individual needs with warmth and compassion and is eager to help you love every aspect of your smile. Dr. Askari loves her work and is passionate about providing the services her patients want and need to stay healthy. Dr. Askari was bestowed the Top Dentist Award by Hour Detroit Magazine and is a member of the American Association of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Society of Dentist Anesthesiologists, the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. She is a Master with the Academy of General Dentistry, which represents her dedication to continuing education for the benefit of her patients.

Dr. Hana Gadalla, BDS, MS - Board Certified Periodontist & Implant Specialist

After earning her bachelor of dental surgery (BDS) degree in 2007 in Libya, Dr. Hana Gadalla pursued additional education in maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics, and implant dentistry over the next 3 years before coming to Michigan. Knowing the critical importance of communication, Dr. Gadalla attended the American Language program at Ohio State University before pursuing her specialty education in periodontics: a Certificate of Fellowship in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry from the University of Florida. She completed her periodontics residency at the University of Detroit Mercy, has been a Board-Certified Periodontist since 2016, and is certified to provide IV sedation.

Dr. B (Umneet Banvait), DMD, General Dentist

Dr. Umneet Banvait earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She was also a research associate in orthodontics at the University of Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco.

Dr. Mariam Khan

Dr. Khan knew she wanted to pursue a career in dentistry due to her pleasant orthodontic experience. “That’s when I realized I wanted to be a dentist and be as empathetic and compassionate as my dentist was to me,” she says. Dr. Khan is a periodontist who cherishes building relationships with patients while helping them achieve their oral health goals. Her main objective is to provide high-quality, evidence-based dentistry. She is attentive, present, and listens to what patients say when expressing their wants and needs. Dr. Khan is an expert in preventing, diagnosing, and treating gum and bone disease with surgical and non-surgical options.

A native of Mumbai, India, Dr. Mariam Khan earned a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree in 2014 from DY Patil School of Dentistry. She then began training at the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and studied periodontics and restorative dentistry at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. She graduated with a residency in periodontics along with a Master of Dental Surgery in Oral Biology degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in 2020. Dr. Khan is completing her DDS degree at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry.

Dr. Jasmine Cheema

Dr. Jasmine Cheema achieved her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkley in 2011 and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southwestern University in 2018. She earned her Master of Orthodontic Science from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2022.

Focused on providing the highest quality clinical care to her patients, Dr. Cheema understands that orthodontic treatment can help patients find their smiles, express their true selves, and be fully confident in who they are. She dedicates herself to giving each patient her undivided attention and her best effort, and she loves getting to know each person in her care while customizing a treatment plan that’s tailored to their specific needs and goals.

Dr. Fadhela Salah, MSC Endodontics - Board Certified Endodontist

Dr. Salah originally studied dentistry in her homeland of Libya. She then obtained a certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in endodontics and a Master of Science degree in endodontics from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine.

After achieving her bachelor’s degree in biology in 2010, Dr. Megan Dinh earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, School of Dental Medicine in 2015.

Specializing in orthodontics was a natural choice for Dr. Lena Akkad. She completed her orthodontics residency program in 2022 from Detroit Mercy, igniting her fervor for treating smiles with a patient-centric approach and providing friendly and compassionate care.

Dr. Akkad is focused on improving, enhancing, and transforming her patients’ smile esthetic and function with customized care that addresses an array of bite and crowding issues, misalignment concerns, and more.
